Volunteer

Thank you for your willingness to share your time and talent with the faith community of Christ the Teacher Catholic School.  The faculty and staff look forward to working with you to promote the value of service as you join in this ministry of the Church.  

Prior to volunteering in a school in the Diocese of Wilmington, a background check must be completed through a third party and approved.  There is a $45 per person fee for the background clearance; it remains in effect for 5 years.  To begin the process of obtaining your clearance, please contact Tina Mahler in the Front Office.  After processing your payment she will give you the school code to use on the online form that will be sent with your code.  The completed background clearance will be emailed to you approximately 5 business days after you submit your information online.  The school will also receive notice from the third party that you have been cleared to volunteer at Christ the Teacher Catholic School.
Volunteers must also annually sign the diocesan Volunteer Covenant, which is signed electronically at the beginning of the school year via PowerSchool.
