I am very happy to be teaching at Christ The Teacher. 2018-2019 marks my 35th year as a Catholic educator. I've taught various grades and subjects over the years. I started my teaching career at Corpus Christi School, where I taught 5th and 6th grade math. From there, I moved to Pennsylvania, and taught 3rd grade at The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic School. Eventually, we moved back to Delaware and I taught 1st and 3rd grades at Corpus Christi School. I then made the transition to All Saints Catholic, where I taught 3rd grade.
I grew up in the suburbs of Wilmington. I attended and graduated from St. Catherine of Siena School, and St. Mark's High School, graduating in the first class. I went on to graduate from Mount St. Mary's University. I feel privledged to have been educated in the Catholic school system.
I've been married to my wonderful (and patient) husband, Rocky Cathcart for many years. We are now empty-nesters. We enjoy living in the Newark area, with our lovable dog, Enzo. We have two adult children, Patrick and Alexandra, who are also lovable!
If you see me drop by and introduce yourself. I look forward to meeting all of you.
