Member Expectations:
All members must maintain a scholastic GPA of 94 or above (96 starting with the Class of 2024) with no rounding throughout tenure in the CTTCS Honor Society. Anyone falling below is put on probation for a trimester. Failure to improve leads to dismissal. Once dismissed, a student may not be readmitted into the Honor Society. Service is a requirement before applying and while a member (see above).
All members are expected to also maintain a high level of Conduct and Effort with the above consequences applying if these levels decline. At the notification, candidates are made aware of the various obligations that are a part of membership (attendance at monthly meetings, participation in honor society service projects, and at least one individual service project each year). Candidates, in consultation with their parents, may then accept or decline membership. Those candidates who accept membership are inducted in a formal ceremony.
Students or parents who have questions regarding the selection process or membership obligations contact the Honor Society Advisor, Mrs. Heather Shea or Ms. Ashley Ridler.
